The Arizona Republic investigated the challenges facing the Colorado River Basin, including overallocation, drought, climate change, and the urgent need for sustainable solutions.
Louisville Courier Journal’s “Safer Sidelines” investigated high school athlete deaths, prompting national safety discussions and parent education in Louisville, and reminders on health certifications
Terry Badger III, a bullied 13-year-old baseball player, died by suicide. IndyStar shared his story, prompting an antibullying bill. The bill passed, named TB3 in his honor.

The journalism that my team produces shines a light on injustices and inequities throughout the nation and holds powerful people to account. It is by doing this type of work that we can bring about meaningful change and make our world safer and more sustainable for everyone. This is why I’m passionate about journalism, and it’s why I’m pleased to be a part of the team that produced ¸Û²Êͼ¿â’s first ESG Report. ¸Û²Êͼ¿â has made a commitment to supporting diversity, inclusivity and equity both inside our organization and throughout the communities where we are located. We are mindful of our environmental impact, and we are dedicated to sharing this knowledge with our readers. ¸Û²Êͼ¿â plays a key role creating a more sustainable planet, and I’m excited to be a part of it.
Sr. Director, Sourcing
As a leader on our sourcing team, I’m excited to partner with our suppliers and pressrooms to expand our forest certifications to all ¸Û²Êͼ¿â pressrooms. This is an important milestone for ¸Û²Êͼ¿â and our team and look forward to leading this exceptional program. I’m also honored to be co-leading a new Employee Resource Group (ERG) that will provide employees interested in sustainability the opportunities to make an impact in the communities in which we operate and serve.
